It certainly offers a gigantic potential to capture the consumer mindscape and subtly weave in the threads of jewellery and accessories as well. Hence, Gitanjali is the title sponsor of the event; keeping in mind the creative enthusiasm depicted by the fashion industries and design process equally challenged and energised."
Vivek Agarwal of Idea Weavers says, "It's a pleasure to come back with KCFW after IPLFW. Though initial glitches were there in IPLFW but then it isn't a easy task to start-off any event, there are many things involved hand-in-hand. Moreover, it was all well when the show started. Our base is in Kolkata, hence it is the best platform to showcase the stuff here, especially bridal-wear booms in Kolkata. We have good established labels with us and also to complete the list we have many budding designers."
He adds saying, "Couture always attract the fashion fraternity of Kolkata. With the wedding and festival season round the corner. It's a perfect time for such an event in Kolkata which has everything to do with only Couture. This fashion week will also encourage and influence the gen-next to think of couture fashion as a viable career option."
This is definitely something to wait and watch-out for!
