INIFD, in association with Lakme Fashion Week, organised a successful Fashion Workshop Series for the third consecutive season.
The workshop saw various eminent fashion personalites like Narendra Kumar, Neeta Lulla and son Sidhharth Lulla, Nachiket Barve, Masaba Gupta, designer Drashta Sarvaiya, Ritu Kochhar (Corporate Director NIFD), Sujal Shah along with Gennext Designers Riddhi and Siddhi. The session also involved noted buyers Sushil Jhaveri, Aparna Badlani, Pearl Uppal, and Caroline Young.
The aim of the Fashion Workshop Series was to throw light on the 'Business of Fashion' which is an extremely important aspect of Fashion that is seldom discussed on such a large platform. The topics of discussion included Ramp to Store, Pricing, Fabrics, Trends, Delivery Times, What sells at each store and the most interesting one being the hot debate on Buying Vs Consignment.
The event saw a packed audience at Grand Hyatt Ballroom in Mumbai with fashion students, young designers and buyers from across the city thronging to interact with the celebrated panelists.
