The main events started from Friday when Eesha and Timmy had a sangeet ceremony followed by mehendi at Mayfair rooms in Worli, South Mumbai. Though there were many socialites and guests present at the event, a guest who attended the ceremony swears it to be one of the best ceremonies held till date. It was not very lavish, but very entertaining, religious; full of love and affection from all the sides. The Friday night ceremony lasted for good 40 minutes and the dance was choreographed by Bosco of Bosco-Cesar pair. It was in truly bollywood in style and both the bride and groom were glowing like diamonds.
Eesha wore a gold and blue lehenga designed by Anita Dongre and Timmy wore a black and gold Sherwani with a jacket for the ceremony. The sangeet had the couple dancing on famous romantic song Teri Ore from Singh Is King and the hall was full of seetis when the couple performed to the song. The marriage happened on Sunday morning at the famous ISKON temple at Juhu in Mumbai. She was very happy that before entering the temple she greeted everyone and said that she just can’t wait to get married.
For the sacred day, she wore a traditional orchid purple sari designed by Neeta Lulla and Anita Dongre, while groom preferred an olive green and cream colored sherwani for the D-day. It was a traditional Maharashtrian style wedding that lasted for about four hours. The marriage happened in the day time at 11 am because the auspicious time scheduled for the wedding.
Later the blushing bride came out of the venue in a traditional doli which was carried by the males of her family and groom Timmy along with his family waited at the entrance of the temple with his car to receive his newly wed bride. Everyone headed to Narang house at Pali Hil in Bandra where everyone had a grand reception party with selected close friends and family. Eesha wore a rose pink lehenga with swarovski and crystal work designed by Neeta Lulla while Timmy Narang was not far behind. Timmy wore a sleeveless black Nehru type jacket with a stylish dhoti.
The newly weds will be performing some pooja and then visit their holy places. They will later leave for their honeymoon but the destination is yet unknown.
