Celebrated designers Pria Kataria Puri, Gaviin Miguel, Deepika Gehani and Riyaz Gangji showcased their elaborate wedding couture at Novotel Mumbai.

Imagine this, an ethereal setting reminiscent of your favourite fairy-tale, an ambience accentuated with pristine white lilies and candles aglow, an ensemble that seems to have been crafted just for the occasion and a lavish feast fit for a king. Now imagine this to be the happiest day of your life - your wedding day!

Last Friday, at Novotel Mumbai, Juhu Beach celebrated the launch of 'Eternia - Trousseaux & More', a bridal extravaganza that brought to life every detail a contemporary bride-to-be would wish for at her wedding.

In keeping with Novotel's adage of sharing a comfortable, home-away-from-home experience with its guests, visitors to Eternia were offered an elegant, yet personalised take on weddings. Gone were the traditional red-and-gold colour palettes and de rigueur marigolds.

Novotel Mumbai's intimate banquet space was transformed to recreate a chic setting complete with mauve hues and a profusion of white orchids and anthuriums. The beautiful vistas of the Arabian Sea through the magnificent bay windows only added to the idyllic ambience.

Created to offer the newest trends in weddings, Eternia shared a wonderful platform for young couples and their families to plan their big day. Celebrated designers Pria Kataria Puri, Gaviin Miguel, Deepika Gehani and Riyaz Gangji showcased elaborate wedding couture.

While Pria Kataria Puri created a mélange of elegance and glamour through The Royal Rajputana Collection, Deepika Gehani's collection of sarees was inspired by tradition and styled in the contemporary. Gaviin Miguel presented chic cocktail dresses and gowns to add a modern spin to one's pre-wedding functions.

For the very first time, Eternia also created a special section dedicated to men’s fashion, showcasing eminent designer Riyaz Gangji's works of art - stylish tuxedoes and elegant sherwanis that spelt sophistication.

Neomy Khatau of KAN Accessorize presented a decadent collection of shoes, bags and accessories for the bride. Veteran hair and make-up artists Bharat and Dorris Godambe showcased their tips and tricks for the brides to look their resplendent best.
