The actor plays a crime journalist in upcoming flick Knock Out. She is seen wearing a stylish grey suit throughout the film. The shooting schedule took 40 days and hence the actor had to wear the same outfit everyday till she was shooting .

The suit is designed by designer Rick Roy and he created seven sets of the same outfit. Only three of them were used and at the end of the day Kangana was so bored that she used to refuse getting in the same dress again and again.

She even had a little argument with the director of the film but to no avail. But after trying her best, the actress gave in because the role she is playing is very strong and would add to her career .

Recently she walked the ramp wearing a million dollar Euro Diamond Bustier handcrafted by Orra’s International design centre with over 500 diamond carats shining on the same. The cost of the diamond studded bustier was approximately Rs 6 Crores .

She wore a heavy embellished pink sari and the diamonds studded earrings and neckpiece complimented her look. Ever since Malaika entered this industry she is known for her amazing style sense.

She should herself consider designing because I am sure she would rock. I hope one day she will bring out her own line .

The collection featured a mix of saris and western garments with a variety of fabrics and an interesting play with embroidery textures. The Tribhangi Dance Theatre Group and leading South African models added a local touch to the show.

We will soon have number of fashion designers directing movies.

It all started with Manish Malhotra who announced that he was planning to direct a movie along with friend Karan Johar. Then it was followed by Vikram Phadnis and soon Sabyasachi too said that he was planning to direct Rani Mukherjee.

Now the latest one to join the league is designer Ashley Lobo. He wants to direct Vidya Balan and is searching for a suitable script.

We just hope that they don’t leave designing even after directing films .

As far as reception is concerned, Soundarya has opted for Mumbai based designer Manish Malhotra. The designer has planned something traditional and contemporary for the superstar’s daughter. But everything is kept under wraps.

I am told that Manish is designing a sari with swarovski and crystal work on it.

Every time I see his creation, I can’t help but say vow. A few days ago I saw hottie Deepika Padukone at Retail Jewelry Awards. She wore a shaded green net sari with cheetah embroidery and a blue velvet border teamed with a sleeveless high riding champagne gold sequenced blouse. It was Manish’s creation and I instantly fell in love with it .

Deepika looks best in Indian attires and the way she carried herself that evening was amazing. She wore perfect jewelry, make-up and accessories that enhanced her look. The holy month of Ramzan has started and tailors in Mumbai are busy taking orders as it’s one of those months when they make a lot of money. I am hearing that they are flooded with orders to stitch white pathani, a la Ajay Bhai style.

Now who is Ajay Bhai? I believe some one staying next door. But no, I am wrong. He is our bollywood actor Ajay Devgan and the white pathani everyone is talking about is the same that he was wearing in recently released One Upon A Time In Mumbai .

It seems customers have been asking for a ditto copy of what the actor is wearing on-screen. Fans here have gone mad behind Sultan Mirza’s style and want to copy the same.

White sandals and shoes are the most selling items while plain white kurtas are also in demand.

Malaika looks amazing in that lehenga-choli, thanks to a local vendor from Bihar. Malaika bought herself a pretty lehenga-choli with traditional sujni embroidery on it from that local vendor.

While filming for the song she happened to show the outfit to choreographer Farah Khan. Farah liked the outfit and asked to design the copy of the outfit but with some more glittering embroidery on it.

Malaika has some three to four outfit changes in the song and designers Ashley Lobo and Rick Roy have designed the costumes for her. The designers got in touch with the local karigars from Bihar who did the traditional sujni embroidery on the outfits.

The jewellery Malaika is wearing in the song is bought from a nautanki company in Bihar .
