Celebrities, play safe!

Ever since the news about Tiger Woods' car crash and his alleged affair with a New York socialite was reported in the media, the ace golfer's list of 'mistresses' are increasing and they are coming out in open declaring their relationship with him.

Since the car crash incident outside his Florida mansion reportedly after a heated argument with his wife Elin Nordegren over his alleged relationship, Woods is all over the global media for worng reasons and is getting exposed beyond imagination.

When such incidents happen, one thing is certain that celebrities and public figures cannot hide their clandestine activities and adulterous lifestyle for long.

Woods' is not the first case or the only case which has made it to the headlines. There are many such secrets that have been revealed about the personal lives of noted personalities. How can we forget the Clinton-Lewinsky case, which grabbed all the attention.

There are many like Woods, who must have had mutliple affairs cheating on their wives. However, not all are unlucky like the golfer to get exposed in such a big way. The lucky ones remain lucky through out.

However, aren't such incidents a lesson for celebrities to play safe?

From bedroom to TV channels

These days, we often see and hear private lives between four walls is becoming more public. What used to be a loving and respectable relationship has come out of bedroom and become a topic of debate among the couple themselves on the television platform.

Yes, it is sad to see jilted lovers or husband and wife discussing their battered relationship, blaming each other on TV channels. Why are people going public with their private lives?

Recently, it was shocking to see a film star, his wife and another woman he had proposed to marry appearing on a private TV channel trying to fix the actor for his mistakes. While it was a free entertainment for millions of viewers, which generally arouses a curiosity when public figures get into such wrong situations, the TV channel would have been happy for its soaring TRP. This is just an example. Such incidents, where private lives of even non-celebrities, are discussed and debated in public often. Wonder who is to be blamed here - the couples and their families or the TV channels which is all the more eager to air such shows.

Are we putting the very sanctity of a relationship to test?

Believe in yourself !

Our lives move around three most important thinngs - Trust, Faith and Belief. As human beings, it is our general tendency to trust, believe and instill faith in any person we are in touch with, move with or communicate. Be it your parents, siblings, children, friends, relatives or even colleagues, we believe them. They say 'seeing is believing', but our inner self, sometimes, oversees this and continues to believe and have faith in a person in spite of he/she is worth being trusted or not.

Recently, I was watching a TV show on saving a relationship, of any kind. These three words, Trust, Faith and Belief, were discussed at length. As I was keen on listening to what may evolve finally out of the conversation, a learned scholar summed it up in a simple yet truthful sense. He said, "One who learns to believe oneself, trust himself and has faith in all that he does, will automatically see these three virtues in others. And, he is unlikely to go wrong." However, he said, when one believes, trusts and has faith in oneself, he will easily forgive and forget the ones who lack them. So very true, isn't it. I feel, in addition to being confident of oneself, these three characteristics also add to our inner beauty which reflects in the form of a gleam in your eyes, glow on your face and a sweet smile on your lips. Aren't we, as humans, born rich and beautiful with these characters.
