Red lipstick is said to be making a comeback with more and more women opting for it in an effort to boost morale.
According to high-end department store Selfridges, sales across all cosmetic brands have jumped by 35 percent on last year, with stars like Scarlett Johansson leading the trend.
"Red lipsticks are on the up because women want to feel sexy," the Daily Express quoted David Walker-Smith, beauty director at Selfridges, as saying.
"It instantly boosts morale and sexuality. What more could women want?" he added.
Just last year women spent 284million pounds on lipsticks. (ANI)
