Today's TOI report states - A leading modelling agency has filed an FIR against the directors of Mindscapes Events & Sports management ltd, the company behind the Kolkata Fashion Week (KFW) held in 2009. The agency accuses three mindscapes directors of cheating the agency of Rs 18.94 lakhs. Sources also said models like Sonalika Sahay, Bhavna Sharma, Indrani Dasgupta, Sapna Kumar, Aryan Vaid and Asif Azim weren't paid their dues.
The report also says, Mindscapes had to pay choreographers, backstage managers, light and sound designers, music compilers and fabricators during KFW season II held in September 2009.
The TOI report also mentioned, Sushma Puri, directorm, Elite Model Management, as saying, "The total dues to all the vendors who offered their services adds up to around Rs 45 lakhs."
