It was all men’s wear on the third day of Lakme Fashion Week. To be more precise, the day was ruled by men, more than women.
Some of the designers who showcased their creations are Rocky S, Paris based famous designer Lecoanet Hemant, Arjun Salluja, Krishna Mehta amongst many others. Rocky S was the centre point of the show and his line was inspired by a vintage vampire wedding. It made the audience feel a spooky sense. The audience sitting and watching the show for once even did not bothered about who was walking the ramp. The Gothic punk theme was enough to hold their attention.
Bollywood actor and hottie John Abraham walked the ramp for him. John was looking blood thirsting because of his costume and his look created by designer Rocky S. Girl friend Bipasha Basu and good friend Katrina Kaif were sitting in the front row to cheer him up, though both the sexy sirens that are rumored to have catfight did not even exchanged pleasantries.
After walking the ramp both John and Bipasha left the show quickly without media interaction. The reason they cited was John was not keeping well. But when Katrina was asked about the alleged cold war between her and Bipasha she dismissed it saying, “No, not at all. There is no hard feeling between us”. After that even she left the show. Katrina was there for friend Rocky S.
Even other bollywood actors like Manoj Bajpai, Pratiek Babbar, Aftab Shivdasani, Shreyas Talpade walked the ramp. Pratiek looked damn hot in a skin shaded suit and all the girls sitting in the audience went berserk after watching him.
Lecoanet Hemant too made a mark. He showcased his line named Ayurganic, organic clothing options for when you indulge in Yoga or Meditation. The designer claims that the fabric used is permeated with special herbs and oils to protect against synthetic chemicals. The clothes will absorb the toxins of the body when wear while sleeping, meditating, relaxing or any other time.
The event started on time and thankfully it was not dragged much, though there are some disappointments. Though there were some designers who did not meet expectations.
