Actress Payal Rohatgi is once again in news, not for controversies but for finding her "Valentine" for life. What's your plan on Valentine's Day?
Payal: Well, my film with Sangram is being released in the Valentine’s week. It's called 'Valentine Night’ and is directed by the debutant director Krishan Badal. We will be praying for its success and well, I do expect Sangram to surprise me as this would be our first Valentine’s together.
Sangram: As Payal said, we will be busy promoting our film and yes I do plan to make this day special for her as she is the most important person in my life.
What are the preparations you are working on to make it a memorable day for you and your Valentine?
Payal: I love to dress up Sangram as he is very simple in his choice of clothes, so I shall pick up something for him.
Sangram: I plan to pamper Payal with all my love on the day. It's the first time I am celebrating it so a bit nervous too. I am planning to buy a pair of solitaires for her.
How important is V-day for you?
Payal: I love the feeling of romance. So, being with Sangram is like celebrating Valentine’s every day. But yes this Valentine will be important to us professionally and personally, in both ways.
Sangram: For me, it's a new thing. But I will make it the best day for Payal, smiles again.
What is the significance of V-day in your life and how do you foresee this day?
Payal: It’s a day of love and I love the feeling of romance, so for me it is important to be with Sangram on the day and spend the time with him.
Sangram: I have never been in love before. This is for the first time I have fallen for someone and I make sure to make it a memorable day for both of us.
Any memorable incident that is special for both of you?
Payal: Well, for the love song between us, we shot a rain sequence at 5 a.m. in the morning in the chilling cold of Delhi. It was the most difficult scene and will probably go down as the most memorable scene of the film for me as Iwas shivering. Frankly I can't handle the cold in Delhi and to top it, was the dance sequence using cold water was absolutely ruthless. But as it’s turned out beautifully, Sangram and I will always remember it as our first on-screen love song.
You might have had crush during your adolescence. How did you celebrate the V-day then and any memorable incident that you can recall?
Payal: I come from a middle class family and my mother was very strict during those days. So during my adolescence I was not allowed for such outings.
Sangram: For me, it's been wrestling all my life till Payal came into my life. She is my first girlfriend and so this is the first time I will celebrate this day of romance.
