Recently Abhishek's 'Four City Blenders' saw many tassel touches. The Kolkata stop saw such pieces embellished with beaded threads, his designed outfits was a fusion piece that the showstopper Jacqueline Fernandez carried with admirable grace. A long white skirt with colourful latkans at the waist and a broad stitched border was paired with a corset and short foil printed jacket added with a simpler yet stylish latkans.
Designer Pria Kataria Puri says, "Latkans and tassels are in fashion, its not only in India but across the globe. Latkans are very trendy and looks luxurious. The best part of such pieces are their colouring technique of antique, gold and silver which moves pretty well with almost all kind of attires be it ethnic or western. Further tassles also look classy with striking and thick boarders."
She adds, "This stylish embellishment looks very trendy even with western wear attires. Its for sure, they add attractiveness to a piece."
Designer Manish Malhotra showcased a stylish Indian wear line at DCW. The classy off-white lehengas were embellished with silver latkans. The ensemble looked highly sophisticated giving it a lavish touch. The ongoing BFW also saw ethnic costumes with the tassel embellishment.
